Therefore, the family should empower them and should motivate them to take the step in go out of the house and work so they can make a positive contribution towards the economy as well (Mehra, 2016).

In a report by Augusto Lopez-Claros, it is mentioned that the past three decades have witnessed a progressively aggregate awareness of the necessity to invest in women through measures to increase social, economic and political justice, and broader access to critical social rights. Still, it is argued that changes in women’s state are a prolonged process; up till now, a lot of work has been done, but yet still, the picture is depressing. It is not only the issue in male-dominated society but also in developed countries as well.

Financial independence

With empowerment, it means that women are not dependent on men, and therefore, they are financially independent as well. A financially independent woman is stronger and empowered as compared to someone who is not economically Independent and depends on the man or other family members. In many cases, women are not very confident to work in hard conditions, or under pressure, therefore, the manager needs to empower them and to encourage them so that they can feel bored confident and focused and so they can work in hard conditions and under pressure as well.

Women who work in companies or have their businesses are more independent as they have a source of earning, which makes them stable and financially stable. So they do not have to beg anyone for anything, and they can take their financial decisions themselves. In other cases, women who are not empowered look up to men for their basic needs, which is not self-satisfying in any way. They are not encouraged to take their decisions on their won, and they have to ask the male members of their house for the permissions.

This kind of empowerment will help the company to grow and the department to flourish as well. In other words, women’s empowerment is also essential, and it has benefits in society. One example of this is that empowerment will help reduce domestic violence because men will not approach a woman who is empowered and durable, Therefore if we empower the women, then they will resist domestic violence as such cases will not occur. And empower women will not promote sexual harassment cases and domestic violence, and therefore, these instances will decline rapidly. Moreover, women are not abused by all these factors, such as sexual abuse, because they are stronger and empowered.

Women as Leaders

Women in our society process great potential for management and leadership as well. Therefore it is important to empower them because if we do not allow them, then the community and world will be deprived of great leaders. A woman can achieve a high level of education and experience, and she can become a leader in the world. Today many women are leading the top management positions at some of the top companies, and they are in the government in the developed and developing countries as well.

These women show great courage and leadership qualities in their companies and their countries as well. Therefore we must empower them to become the leader and Chief. Therefore it is essential that we empower women so they can take part in society, politics, education, and, most importantly, in the economy as well (Purushothaman, 2019).

Policies

Many policies are being made on women empowerment and on improving the conditions and situation of women. However, there are a lot of new policies that are required to reduce the hurdles and obstacles and even constraints that women face, and your system should be made, which can empower them. A lot of work is needed to cut discrimination and gender bias and inequality. These policies can help reduce gender inequalities and discrimination. They will help in empowering women so that they can make their own decisions and can create a better impact on society and the economy as a whole (Medel-Anonuevo, 2017).

Microfinance has been fruitful in reaching poor women through inventive methods to address gender-specific restraints. According to a report, Women’s Control over Economic resources and access to financial support, including microfinance, 2009, it is evident that microfinance has a constructive effect on income. Still, this income expansion has definite limits as females are subjugated to unfair customs and practices which limits their activities. Females face constraints to gain access to financial services (Hall, Women, and empowerment: Strategies for increasing autonomy. Routledge).

Women empowerment is important in health and nutrition as well, just like it is important in education and Finance so that women can avail of better health services as well, and they can be in a mental and physical condition to lead from the front. Moreover, their efforts need to be done and taken to provide productive and decent employment to all the women so that they can work in the economy and can compete with men as well. This is how policies can affect women.
